Baby Step 1 - Save

SAVE.

As my thoughts get crowded by so many ideas, writing down my thoughts just seem to make  my brain tamed for a while. The thing is, while I have realized the fact that I am not yet ready to engage in a business, that does not mean I have to set my mind to inaction.  I believe this is the same for any one who can relate to my story.

My Baby Step 1 is to focus on SAVING.

There isn't much that I can do now without enough money. (Robert Kiosaki would kill me for saying this.) I am a huge fan of Mr. Kiosaki and I am currently reading one of his bestsellers Cashflow Quadrant. I have come across the chapter where he wrote that he did not need money to start his own business. Well I haven't finished the book yet. I don't know how he did that. Once I do, who knows? It could be my next baby step. :) No worries, I'm gonna share what I would learn. Better yet, grab a copy. ;)

So going back, the best thing that I could do now is to save and wait until I get enough to start something  (and maybe wait until I finish K's book).  Saving little is better than saving nothing after all. I have been working in less than two years now. And it was just last December that I was able to start saving for several reasons. And I am very much happy with my progress.

Let me expound on Inaction.

Why can I save now? Why didn't I start long before, at the first month of employment?

Right after college I began paying our debts. You see, I didn't come from a rich family. I started filling our house with normal stuff. I got myself my own computer. I took charge of my brother and sister who are still studying. I got these endless factors that affected my saving. And one time I realized I still have nothing for myself (well except for my computer). And I knew something was wrong. I was flooded with seminars on savings, investments, insurance and the more I became sick of the thought that I could not save. All the while, I was aiming to open a separate  bank account for my savings but I didnt.

It was just last December that I did. I thought that hadn't I took my chance of opening a bank account then, had I  took the comfort of inaction, my saving would've still been zero. And I would've probably been even more frustrated now because there would be no way I could start my own business.

Needs are endless. Let us make sure we are keeping even small amounts for our future.

Piso Net

In demand
Currently, people are into Piso Net. With one peso coin, you get 5 minutes to surf the internet. In sense, the more coins you have, the longer you get to do your routines -Facebook, Twitter, online games, etc.

With these, a lot of people get interested in  having Pisonet as a source of income. And you will find my name on the list of those interested. :)

How does Pisonet work as an income?

Example. I own a complete Pisonet unit. A unit is composed of a complete desktop and a Coin Slot (with the electronic gadget of course). I then would look for a good location where I would want my Pisonet placed. And voila I found you! I find your place nice because you have an extra space. I think your location could get a good signal of wireless internet connection too. Aside from that, I can see that there are a lot of people residing in your area. You are perfect. I would then offer you a partnership.  "I" then becomes "We". We would place our units in your place. We would use your electricity and  would use my wireless internet connection. We would then let people know our business is open. And we let it be. After a week, we will open the box and divide the profit according to our agreement.Usually it is 60-40. (Owner gets 60 percent, the location owner gets 40) You did not do anything. There was not much supervision from both of us. We are both happy. End of example.

That is how  PisoNet is. My friend  has his own already and is offering me to start my own as well. I have been thinking about this for 3 days already and just can't let go of the thought. I am budget-tight and still on the saving period. If anyone is interested to be the 60 and is more prepared than I am, give this a thought. You could also be the 40. As for me, my place is not really a  good location so I'd rather be the 60.

FAQ
 1. How much is a unit?
My friend told me he went to Raon and found units there at P21,000 each. I think there are other people selling at a lower price. But you have to keep an eye on the parts they would be using. Some claims to be selling brand new units. You  have to be really careful. My good friend is willing to assemble units for me at a really good-old-friend price. :)
 2. What is the best internet connection?
If  owner  40 already has an internet connection, then you could change the arrangements. You could just pay his internet bill. :) Or, you could apply for wireless connection. Now,  signal depends on location so I think it is better if you would run a signal test on the location first.
 3. My gash, what else?
If you have other questions, well you can comment anyway. :) And I'll try to answer them if I can.

I sooo wish I could start mine soon. I am eyeing my uncle's location. He has a wide space in front of his house. Though I  gotta have some parts fixed so people would be much comfortable as they enjoy my soon to be PisoNet.

About BiznesJuan

For two weeks straight, I have been thinking of what business I could probably start soon. And I now realize  this is not easy. I realize I am not prepared.  There are a lot of factors that I have to consider in starting a business. And in thinking of these factors, I ended up starting a blog. In ten minutes, I have started BIZNESJUAN.

Since I can't get my ideas organized in a way that could make them useful for my business start up, I've thought of making sure I make baby steps into reaching what I want. And I'm committing to logging these baby steps in this blog. By this, I know I could always go back and see my accomplishments and my mistakes. Hopefully other people could learn with my experiences as well.

I am targetting BIZNESJUAN to become a blog a lot of people, not just Filipinos would benefit on. I would never claim to be an expert of any business I have not tried myself, since this blog is also my way to keep track of my own business adventures. It would be composed of mostly businesses that people  hopefully could engage themselves in. I hope it could be a space where people could share their thoughts about latest businesses.

Lastly, I  hope all of us enjoy whatever activities we decide to do. To think about generating an income could really be frustrating ( I hope this would never be the case), but I wish we could find joy and excitement instead.

Join me as I go through my little adventures. :)
